Darcy Bean

Darcy Bean joined OM Realty Group in October of 2007 and works in all aspects of real estate from leasing and sales to assisting in development.  He has extensive experience in leasing both as a landlord and agent and strives to achieve dynamism and sincerity in his work as a Realtor in Chicago.

Healthy living, fine food, design and community are among Darcy's key interests. Currently he is working with the Logan Square Neighborhood Association on a photography project that promotes bicycle riding and a more pedestrian lifestyle. Yes, he is one of those nuts on a bike in the middle of winter. On behalf of the Chicago bicycle community he kindly requests that drivers use turn signals when driving. It'll save us all a lot of road rage.

As a realtor, communication is probably the most important aspect of Darcy's work. He has often said that he could talk to a tree...which may be a transferable skill...but we aren't sure yet.

Graduating from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2004, Darcy received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition. He worked as a Food Scientist for 2 years then made the migration North to Chicago where he resides in Logan Square. One of his hobbies is exploring Chicago neighborhoods either by foot or bicycle to soak in the culture and the sights...and to see what the Real Estate market is doing. Gotta do the leg work to find the deals! But, basically he's a Big Ten baby raised in the corn which means he's one part academic and two parts good ole boy.
