Switch to powdered detergent

Think about the amount of water it takes to make liquid detergent. It's the main ingredient. Since 1 out of 5 people in the world don't have water, it would be nice if we left it for them.

Clean the lint trap with soap and water

If you use dryer sheets, your lint trap will collect a film that reduces air flow making your dryer cycle longer. By clean this monthly you can keep the dryer running efficiently and save on gas and electricity.
