OM Realty Group: Green Developer opens 1st Green Realty Brokerage in Chicago

CHICAGO, IL: Announcing OM Realty Group, Chicago's first full service green realty brokerage  - dedicated to improving home values through energy efficiency while serving the environment.

Bhatia's drive to create OM Realty Group stems from his love for the environment combined with his frustration watching first-time, uneducated buyers fall prey to inexperienced real estate agents and poor building construction during the housing boom.

Green Condo Development Increases Buying Power

 

Everyone knows that Green homes help the environment. What many people don't know is that green homes also increase a purchaser's buying power.  OM Development's most recent project called Green Marshfield does just that.

Green Marshfield exceeds Energy Star's efficiency by more than 70%. This translates into about $1100 in annual energy savings per unit. "The annual savings affords buyers with over $15,000 more in buying power on a total mortgage," says Green Developer Marty Bhatia. "Which ultimately gives more people an opportunity to live green."
