Om Realty Group was founded in 2005 by Marty Bhatia as an extension of OM Development, LLC. As the housing boom peaked, Marty witnessed an influx of first-time, uneducated buyers falling prey to inexperienced realty agents and poor building construction. Valuing the home as the most important asset in a person's life, Marty realized the individual and societal implications of buying a high-quality home. As an expert developer dedicated to the integrity of sustainable, environmentally and socially conscious construction, Marty recognized the need to extend these same principles to the realty segment of the housing industry and created OM Realty Group.

OM Realty is the first and only full service Green realty brokerage in Chicago. It was created with the intention of making sure the home truly serves its owner and the community as a sustainable asset.
